Our hair yields as fluid, dynamic, expressive, and an integral part of our body and our psyche. Function informs my decisions with regard to line, shape, color, texture, unity, balance, proportion, emphasis, and contrast. The topic of suitability is complex and interesting. This is why I love hair design.

Often, men will fight the natural direction in which their hair grows. This rarely results in a flattering look, as unruly characteristics become amplified. Hair looks much better when it doesn't look like one has been in a fight with it and lost. Here the hair is simply cut and styled following the natural growth patterns.

This hair has it's own unique character, because it has a natural parting on each side, growing toward the center, and it grows forward from the crown. The most successful styling, seen here, follows the natural growth with a soft holding styling product.
